MOEBIUS SYNDROME - RELATED DISORDERS I would probably be most helpful in answering questions regarding the possible things to expect in Moebius children as they grow up. My son is nearly 12 years old. He has a diagnosis of Pervasive Developmental Disorder, similar to Aspergers Syndrome. They are both on the Autism scale and we are discovering that there is a link between Moebius and Autism because they are both caused at the same time between 6-9 weeks of fetal development. He has ADHD, OCD, and has had smile surgery done by the one and only Dr. Zuker. In addition, I could advise about sleep problems that are also associated with Moebius because the sleep center is located in close proximity to the cranial nerves in the brain. I look forward to participating in this project.
